I wonder how widespread is the concept. Please leave a comment with your answer. A simple yes or no will suffice. Though if you have a strong opinion about them I’d be glad to hear it. Also interesting to hear would be how you heard about them—quality management class? invented them on your own? late night Wikipedia? serendipity?

Thank you guys for answering. I was (am) obsessed about this because I ended up sort of rediscovering them on my own (I named them value tables). I imagined a valuing-support system that hinged on creating as much of them, as automatically, and as quick-and-dirty as possible. Despite my excitement (“Yo el entusiasmo me lo provoco como la masturbacion,” said Savater somewhere), it ain’t currently at the top of my goal hierarchy (a particularly nasty mess right now) but I promise that if 20 people answer this survey I’ll take the time to cobble up some demos.
they are killing me.
it’s our Final proyect, thesis-like, for Biotechnology Plants, we have to establish this natural colorant industry…we need them for every single decision we make, everything’s got to be fundamented. why this, why not this other thing, why using this technology, why this type of equipment and not another one..why was this ponderation given.. how did you evaluate that variable.. i spent 20+ hours trying to decide in which country, state, which industrial park we were going to settle and why.. and it was all wrong. now, i’ve got to redefine it all over again, while there are several other more important things to do about the proyect.i´m going nuts, and besides these are only the inicial decisions, there’s only one month and a half to finish it and present it.
just passing by to say hello. sorry for not answering that email YET.
